Job Description:

We are seeking reliable Casual Support Workers to assist our NDIS client who is located in Box Hill, Melbourne. Ideal candidate should be genuine, passionate for caring and ability to build rapport with clients.

Job Requirements: 

  • Cert. III in Disability or similar
  • 3 years Industry experience (after qualification) preferred
  • The ability to provide care 1 on 1 ratio
  • Ability to follow and understand participants support plans
  • A person-centered care and support approach
  • Excellent communication skills with an empathetic approach
  • A friendly & happy nature and be able to build and maintain positive relationships and trust with our valued clients and their families
  • Flexible availability & a long-term commitment to Greenstaff HomeCare
  • A full Victorian driver’s license is required 

Registration Requirements

  • The right to work in Australia
  • Current Working with Children Check (WWCC) (or willingness to obtain)
  • Current National Police Check ( Valid for 3 years)
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • On-line NDIS Worker Orientation Module ‘Quality, Safety & You’ and NDIS New Worker Induction Module ( Or is willing to obtain)
  • COVID Doses and Annual Influenza shot
  • Two professional references (of your Manager/Supervisor/Team Leader)
  • Computer literacy and access to internet/emails
  • Current Practical First Aid Training Certificate ( Valid for 3 years)
